We are aware that, as Packtion, the company and the people working within the company, we influence the world around us and leave a footprint in everything we do. We are therefore looking into how we can reduce this footprint in both the short and long term in order to work towards the 2050 climate targets.
For example, we look at environmental aspects such as our energy use, the use of fossil fuels, the waste stream, our water use, etc.
We also look at our shareholders such as our employees, customers, suppliers and all other people with whom we come into contact and on whom we can have a small or large influence. This concerns, for example, factors in the field of working conditions, well-being and well-being.
In addition, a conscious choice has been made for suppliers from Western countries where the guidelines in the field of human rights correspond to those that we as Dutch people are used to or consider desirable.
Furthermore, we have consciously chosen a registered accountant to check and supervise our reports in order to have and keep them at the highest possible level of quality.
Establishing and making the above indicators measurable is a challenge that we will focus on in the coming years.
